How much money I need to spend 9 weeks in Thailand ?
A couple friends and I are coming over from the end of November until the end of January. We’ll be attending the Full Moon Party for New Year’s Eve, but other than that the rest of the time shall just be spent lying on beaches and the odd trip such as seeing the tigers and elephant riding but that’ll obviously only be done the once throughout our trip. How much money is a good amount to take, to see us through these 9 weeks for hostels, food and drink? We’re not sure how much is a substantial amount to save?

If you want to stay in nice rooms and have party every night you should count with 4000 Baht each day for the basics.

I’d say 100,000 for the sort of holiday you describe and also a credit card as emergency backup would see you through.

Its depend how u spent …. 100000 bahts is not much also not less… !
If u every nite Pub disco & drinking all nite, I can 100% tell u that its totally not enough at all … by 2-3 weeks will gone with 100000 bahts… !
Use it wisely… its should be enough for each of u with 100000 bahts… !
Take more cash in hand will be dangerous too… ATM or credit cards is the best … !
