Which Hotel in Bangkok do you can recommand and which one is to avoid ?

First of all Bangkok has a lot of traffic and in the rush hours sometimes its impossible to get a taxi, or you need hours to ride some miles…

So I am always looking for hotels in walking distance to the BTS (Skytrain) or the MRT (Subway). Its no use to stay in a nice room but cant get anywhere at some times.

Booking apps are very usefull (my fav. is the app from booking.com) cause you can sort hotels by different options like price, rating, distance… There are also many serviced apartments in bangkok where rooms can be rent day by day too…

Here are some Hotels in Bangkok where I have been already and clearly can recommand:
The Green Bells  located in On Nut close to BTS On Nut, Tesco shopping center and On Nut Thai market. Very nice place with friendly stuff, clean rooms and big pool… Roomrates 1300-1400Baht per day, 20k a month…

Sitara Place (http://www.sitaraplace.com/) located in Ratchada near MRT Pra Ram 9, Esplanade shopping complex, Central ratchada and Fortune mall.

Hotels to avoid :
unico express @ sukhumvit bangkok, dirty shithole with incompetent stuff… first off all the room we got looked very different from the pictures we saw before on the booking and wasnt very clean. Then we got waked up in the morning at 7 by phone after just a few hours of sleep and somebody told us we have to check out at 9. Normally checkout time is 12.
After we complaint this on the reception they told us it was a mistake and we can go back to the rooms for 3 hours… Fuck off !!! We are already awake and haved packed our stuff…

Royal Asia Lodge @ Sukhumvit bangkok, booked via Agoda and shown pictures are totally different from the rooms… They had to show me 3 rooms before I got one I can stay in… All 3 rooms before are smelly, dark and with old dirty carpet…
